asked: Just wanted to say, awesome collection I'd pay just to hang out in your room it's like a museum, also at first view I thought this collection must belong to a man in his 30's, so surprised to find out just by clicking your links you are a cute artist in her 20's..I'm amazed, wish I knew more ppl like you.
Thank you!! I’ve been really into advertising and pop culture since I was a kid and built up this collection within the last seven years. Other collectors tend to look down on me because of my age, but I’m a serious collector and I have the up-most respect for these pieces of memorabilia and history I’m lucky to share my life with. Thank you for the kind comment!
Anonymous asked: This isn't a ask but all I want to say is that you are a wonderful person and I really look up to you when it comes to the McDonald's fandom (if there is any) I hope one day we get to meet! I'm sorry if I am bothering you in any way I just really look up to you. I love all your collections!
Ahh, thank you! That doesn’t bother me at all, I’m flattered! The McDonald’s fandom is huge, but it doesn’t have a big online presence unfortunately. Thank you for the kind words!
This is Sundae, Ronald McDonald’s clown dog from the Klasky-Csupo cartoon ‘The Wacky Adventures of Ronald McDonald.’ This is an actual costume worn by Verne Troyer (aka. Mini Me). It’s all latex covered in fur and works just like a quad fursuit. There’s a zipper down the stomach to get into the costume. The paws snapped on in this photo are his ‘sitting paws’ for shots where Sundae was sitting or being held. He also has a pair of ‘walking paws’ that have handles inside and are dirty and worn on the bottom. He’s all complete, just missing his animatronic head and his tail. The head here is an unfurred latex cast that has been airbrushed as a color test. The little arrows symbolize the fur direction.
Today, Mac is a beautiful bride!
I was helping my mom sell her wedding dress and I suggested we put it on the mannequin that my Mac Tonight costume is usually displayed on. Since the Mac costume was on the table…this happened. xD
If you’re interested in this beautiful dress, it’s for sale here on eBay— http://www.ebay.com/itm/331069748962?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649
The most permanent part of my Mac Tonight collection- my Mac tattoo. I have Abe Sapien tattooed on my other arm (hopefully someone will understand how Abe and Mac are related). I also have tattoos of the Noid and Hellboy. I really want to get my tattoos lightened enough and covered up with some really amazing tattoos in a more painted, lineless, photo-realistic style. But in the meantime this one gets me free food at McDonald’s, so I can’t complain too much. Haha.
Hello, I’m here to collect my ‘coolest bedsheets ever’ award.
I’ve had vintage McDonald’s sheets on my bed for AGES (the same sheet as the top one shown here) and they got so worn out and thin from being used for so long. So I replaced them with ALF sheets and replaced my comforter with a Where’s Waldo one. And that’s a Mac Tonight pillowcase- it says “Sleep peacefully, because somewhere in the world someone is making a Big Mac.”
It’s impossible to tell from my photos, but Mac’s shades are actually a dark purple. And yes, he does have (very creepy) blue eyes underneath. His sunglasses are removable and fold just like real shades!
Original Mac Tonight Happy Meal display. It needs to be taped back together and some of the toys are missing, though I do have them. Aside from a small tear on the top of it, it’s in great condition for its age. The yellow thing to the left of it is it’s base that slides into the bottom of it.
